R532 to Graskop, 18kms north of Sabie (Hiking permit required). The only local waterfall that is wider than i is high. Park at green hertiage Picnic Site and follow well marked, shady 4km trail through forest alongside the river to the falls, reyurning on the otherside. 1.5 hour round trip. Picnic sites available. R532 to Graskop, 15 kms North od Sabie. Named for the many Scottish miners in the early 20th Centuary. A dynamite blast split the 65m falls in two. 300m path from parking area. Curios for sale and toilet facilities on site.

About Lone Creek Falls

Lone Creek Falls is a well-known spot and is part of the waterfall route in the area of Sabie, Mpumalanga.

A short 200 m walk from the parking will take you to the foot of the 68 m waterfall. If you'd like to experience the falls in solitude and away from the crowd there is a path from the parking leading to the top of the falls. The walk is not too difficult and there are a few picnic sites.
