About Rra Ditau Bushveld Lodge
Rra Ditau Bushveld Lodge is a warm-hearted bush retreat, renowned for its peace and tranquility, offering exclusivity and personal attention. Rra Ditau means ‘Father of Lions’ in Tswana, and the lodge is situated on a 50-hectare malaria-free nature reserve at the foothills of the Waterberg Mountain Range, directly across from Marakele National Park.
Healthy appetites are well catered for in our à la carte restaurant. We also offer a friendly bar, swimming pool, big screen satellite television and free wireless Internet connection throughout the lodge. The lodge is ideal for family get-togethers, children’s parties and corporate functions. For a perfect evening, you can either sit around the fire on our large open-air deck and take in the atmosphere of the bushveld or dance under the stars.
The lodge features a range of luxury thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms. Some of the chalets are equipped for self-catering and all of the chalets are serviced daily. Additional self-catering facilities are available for all guests in our boma kitchen, and each chalet has its own private braai area or boma. Chalets also include a fridge, bedding, towels and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Local activities include game-viewing, bush walks, bush braais, hiking, 4x4 trails, microlight flights, tree trails, fishing, golf, Marakele Predator Park and bird-watching. An additional special attraction not to be missed is the Vulture Restaurant. Here you can view vultures at close quarters whilst they scavenge on animal carcasses.
Rates shown are for two guests occupying the chalets; it is an additional R250 per person per night for every additional guest up to the maximum number of guests.
